When catastrophic flash floods tore through Southeast Missouri on July 9-10, 2026, Operation BBQ Relief volunteers answered the call. From July 14–18, our team set up a cooksite in Lesterville, providing “The One Hot Meal That Matters” 1,559 times to residents, relief workers, and first responders navigating the disaster. Serving the people of Lesterville was a true honor – their resilience in the face of destruction left every one of our volunteers deeply inspired.
