On August 8, 2026, Operation BBQ Relief (OBR) supported the Next Chapter Reentry Project (NCRP) Block Party in Rochester, Minnesota. This annual event raises critical funds and awareness for NCRP’s mission to provide housing and essential resources to individuals reentering society after incarceration.
Bringing their skills to the pit, OBR volunteers cooked 108 racks of loin back ribs to sell in support of the fundraiser. The crowd loved every bite – our team took home 2nd place in the official rib competition and earned the coveted People’s Choice Award!
We are deeply grateful to our dedicated volunteers for showing up to make a difference. Good barbecue isn’t just about great food – it’s about bringing communities together to lift up our neighbors.
