There’s something special about Mississippi. This was our seventh disaster deployment here, and once again, the community spirit proved to be more powerful than any storm.
As Winter Storm Fern moved out, our team moved in on Jan. 30, 2026. Over 10 days, we had the honor of providing 24,250 hot meals to those navigating the cold and the dark. From tired first responders to families waiting for the lights to come back on, every plate was a reminder that no one has to face a disaster alone.
To the hands that prepped, the donors who funded, and the locals who welcomed us: Thank you. We’re heading out for now, but our commitment to this state is forever.
