When a tornado struck the Kankakee, Illinois area in March 2026, our incredible team of volunteers responded rapidly. Over the course of four days, they provided 1,001 hot meals to families and first responders in Illinois and Indiana. In the wake of devastating tornadoes, we witnessed something even more powerful than the storm: an unbreakable community spirit.
