Operation BBQ Relief was proud to support the Travis Manion Foundation – Phoenix Chapter, The Mission Continues, Wounded Warrior Project, Team Red, White & Blue, and Team Rubicon at the Earth Day Operation Legacy Service Project in Phoenix, Ariz. on April 20, 2024. These veterans service organizations came together at the Rio Salado Habitat Restoration Area in Honor of Fallen Hero Sergeant Thomas Z. Spitzer, USMC to rehab the park by cutting down overgrown shrubs, painting over graffiti, and collecting trash. We worked together with El Jefe Taco & Sushi in Tempe, Ariz. to provide 100 meals to the volunteers supporting the event. We are so thankful to our Area Coordinator for Arizona Jerry Hingtgen and all our community partners for making this event possible!
