It’s not every day we get to thank both our human and equine police officers! On Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, Jan. 9, 2024, Operation BBQ Relief Volunteers Andy Feest, Joe Clark, and their team provided 50 meals to mounted police officers attending training with the Milwaukee Police Department Mounted Patrol Foundation in Wisconsin. Our volunteers also visited the horses at the equine officer stables to extend our thanks and offer tasty treats. We were so honored to give back to those who do so much to keep their communities safe, and are thankful to our volunteers who made this event possible!
