On July 12, 2024, we teamed up with Seaboard Foods and Prairie Fresh to provide 200 hot barbecue meals to participants and volunteers at Ability KC’s “Day at the Lake” event in Smithville, Missouri. This event provided opportunities for individuals with spinal cord injuries, amputations, and other disabilities to water ski, kayak, and take boat rides.
