Hurricane Laura made landfall in Texas on August 27, 2020. This hurricane resulted in approximately 160,000 power outages and 8,500 people being displaced into temporary shelters. The U.S. Army and EMS were there to provide much needed aid to the victims along with Operation BBQ Relief volunteers.
