Fired Up to Serve

Mobilizing Meals When Disaster Strikes

We know a hot bbq meal means the world in the middle of chaos. That's why we put our pitmaster skills to work, bringing comfort and hope to families and first responders when they need it most.

  • Assessment

Every disaster is different. We quickly evaluate the scope—the damage, the people impacted, and the services disrupted—to determine how best to serve. Once the decision is made, our volunteers and state leads are alerted, and our proven response plan kicks into action.

  • Preparation

Behind every hot meal is a massive team effort. Volunteers answer the call, sponsors provide the toughest gear, food, fuel, and financial support, and our logistics crew works around the clock to line up every detail. Together, we prepare for one mission: to serve comfort when it’s needed most.

  • Deployment

When the trucks roll in and the smokers fire up, relief takes shape. Volunteers serve hot BBQ meals to families and first responders as long as they’re needed—reminders that even in the hardest times, they are not forgotten and not alone.

Disaster Meals Provided

When we were in North Carolina in Avery County helping after Helene I stopped off for directions, and y'all were there and gave me the best meal I had in weeks. Nothing was open for hours in any direction, and all I had been eating were snacks. It was so incredible to have an actual hot meal. Thank you so much for all y'all do.
