Since May 2011, Operation BBQ Relief volunteers have been deployed for 220 days, to 40 disasters in 22 states and have served 1,200,474 hot BBQ meals to those in need.
To serve almost 1.2 million meals it takes approximately:
- 515,000 pounds of raw pork
- 65,000 number #10 can of vegetables for sides
- 75,000 – packages of hamburger buns
- 50,000 full sized aluminum pans
- 40,000 volunteer deployment hours donated to those communities in need
