From October 22-26, 2025, Camp OBR welcomed a truly inspiring group: mothers from the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) who carry the profound loss of a child who served in the military. This retreat offered a unique space for connection and healing through the shared experience of culinary therapy.
We were especially honored to welcome legendary pitmaster and U.S. Marine Corps Veteran Tuffy Stone, who traveled to the Lake of the Ozarks to teach, inspire, and help these incredible mothers fire up something meaningful.
