This Thanksgiving, dedicated Operation BBQ Relief volunteers in North Carolina and Tennessee hosted two Days of Giving events bringing hot meals to nearly 4,000 people! In Hickory, N.C. Scott Jarett, his team, and Hickory Soup Kitchen provided Thanksgiving meals for 2,500 people who otherwise may have gone without. In downtown Memphis, Tenn., John David Wheeler and his team partnered with Westy’s to feed 1,400 meals to the homeless and others facing food insecurity. We are thankful for and proud of our volunteers for serving their communities during the holidays. They are the heart of The Always Serving Project, coordinating Days of Giving events year-round.
