From the Heart

July 2022

Message from the Co-Founders

Operation BBQ Relief has served at multiple events throughout the country to share the healing power of BBQ.  Through The Always Serving Project, we are grateful for the opportunity to serve members of the military, veterans, first responders, and their families.  The events provide hope, friendship, and compassion to thousands of participants each year.

We appreciate the support from sponsors, volunteers, regional directors, and area coordinators that help serve the one hot meal that matters.  The mission of Operation BBQ Relief would not be possible without the donation of time, talent, and treasure.

Operation BBQ Relief will continue to prepare for the upcoming disaster season.  We never know where we will go next and are thankful for your constant support.  Please register to volunteer today!

Day at the Lake

Operation BBQ Relief teamed up with Seaboard Foods and Prairie Fresh to provide a BBQ lunch for Ability KC at the Day at the Lake event in Smithville, MO.  Ability KC provides opportunities for individuals with spinal cord injuries, amputations, and other disabilities to water ski, kayak, and take boat rides.

Thank you to the supporters, volunteers, and participants that helped make the event a perfect summer’s day.
