Message from the Co-Founders
Outside of our disaster work we have our non-disaster program we call The Always Serving Project®. The Always Serving Project® supports those heroes that are always serving. We focus on first responders, veterans, military members and their families.
We teamed up with the Gary Sinise Foundation to serve first responders in southwest Florida. We also hosted an event for veterans at Camp OBR. The various events have helped us improve our processes and procedure while also engaging volunteers. We invite you to visit our website obr.org and download the Operation BBQ Relief app to stay up-to-date on events and volunteer opportunities.

The Always Serving Project®
Operation BBQ Relief teamed up with Gary Sinise Foundation to host First Responders Appreciation for the Sanibel Fire Rescue District, St. Petersburg Fire Rescue, and Fort Myers Fire Department. Thank you to the Gary Sinise Foundation, volunteers, and staff that helped provide 2,500 hot BBQ meals! From prepping at the Tampa warehouse to making sandwiches and delivering meals, we are grateful for our incredible team!
The Always Serving Project®
Operation BBQ Relief thanks Farmers Insurance for teaming up to provide 500 hot meals to the Armed Services YMCA San Diego. We are honored to serve those who serve us!
Camp OBR
Operation BBQ Relief teamed up with MO Vets Outdoors to host a Goose Hunt at Camp OBR at the Lake of the Ozarks. We enjoyed our time serving those who serve us.
