Operation BBQ Relief launched our first billboard campaign! We extend our gratitude to Lamar Advertising Company for the generous donation of billboards to promote our mission. We love sharing in Lamar’s goal of leaving “every place that we’re privileged to operate in better than the way we found it.”

This call-to-action was on the very first Operation BBQ Relief t-shirt when the organization first started. We are grateful to over 14,000 volunteers and supporters who answered the call to join us in sharing the hearing power of BBQ.
We are thrilled to have the billboard raise awareness and recruit more volunteers to join our efforts!

Operation BBQ Relief will be hosting our first Celebrity BBQ Academy & Golf Classic fundraiser on Monday, May 24, 2021 in Kansas City. Join us as we celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Operation BBQ Relief!
Do you love to golf and enjoy good BBQ?
Your golf team will play on one of the best courses in the Kansas City area while sampling delicious BBQ and drink pairings throughout the course.
Do you love good BBQ but do not golf?
Sign up for the BBQ Academy course. Participants in teams of 4 will get a fast-paced introduction to the art and science of BBQ at different stations throughout the golf course. You’ll learn the tools of the trade, the difference between hot-n-fast and low-n-slow, and how to apply them to turn out the best grilling and BBQ you have ever tried.
Come hungry and get ready for a fun-filled day to further the mission of Operation BBQ Relief.

Serving Those Who Serve Us
Through the Operation Restaurant Relief program, we teamed up with Wilma’s Good Food to provide meals to veterans experiencing homelessness at Hope Faith in Kansas City. Veterans are served meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Over 4800 meals have been provided to date! The program will continue until the end of March!
