Food Donation Recipient Agreement & Marketing Guidelines

Thank you for teaming up with Operation BBQ Relief® to provide meals to those in need. As a recipient of Operation BBQ Relief provided meals for distribution, you are expected to adhere to the following guidelines.

After reviewing the requirements below, please click the link at the bottom of the page to sign the Food Donation Recipient Agreement form.

Social Media Posts
When you post photos on your organization’s social media accounts related to meals provided by Operation BBQ Relief, “tag” Operation BBQ Relief on those posts using the following handles:

LinkedIn: Operation BBQ Relief

Public Meal Distributions
When there will be a public distribution by Organization of meals provided by Operation BBQ Relief, Organization must, prior to any such public distribution, provide the distribution site address, hours, and other pertinent information to Operation BBQ Relief by emailing marketing@obr.org. Operation BBQ Relief may share the details of any public distribution by Organization of Operation BBQ Relief provided meals.

Logo and Brand Standards
Consult, adhere, and comply with the Operation BBQ Relief brand standards guide prior to using any Operation BBQ Relief logos, hashtags, or commonly used phrases. We want to keep branding consistent, and you can help us do so by following those standards outlined in this PDF https://operationbbqrelief.org/brandstandards/. Please email marketing@obr.org for usage of our logo.

Press Releases
If you or your organization will be publishing press releases related to or the meals provided by Operation BBQ Relief, Organization agrees to provide a draft of any such press release to Operation BBQ Relief for prior approval before any such publication. Operation BBQ Relief may add quotes or additional information to any such press release. Press releases should be emailed to marketing@obr.org for approval.

Media Engagement
Organization agrees to forward media inquiries related to Operation BBQ Relief or the provision or distribution of Operation BBQ Relief provided meals to Operation BBQ Relief by providing the media entity the email address marketing@obr.org and by including Operation BBQ Relief on any future email correspondence with the media entity. Invite Operation BBQ Relief to participate in any press conference or other live media/marketing event that relates to Operation BBQ Relief or Operation BBQ Relief provided meals.

Quotes and Photos
Email photos of your meal distribution and quotes from organization leaders, volunteers, and/or meal recipients to marketing@obr.org.
