Smithville, Missouri (Tornado) / 525 Meals Over 2 Days

In March, 2017, an EF2 tornado with winds up to 132 miles per hour damaged or destroyed approximately 70 homes in Smithville. The local airport was also damaged by extremely strong winds that were a part of this storm. Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported. Operation BBQ Relief deployed to share the healing power of BBQ to victims and volunteers.
