Between October 8 and 9, 2017, multiple fires broke out in Santa Rosa. High winds and dry conditions caused the wildfires to spread rapidly. The fires caused hundreds of people to go missing and took the lives of 40 individuals. Operation BBQ Relief joined forces with Guy Fieri to feed those affected and the first responders in the Santa Rosa community and surrounding areas. Operation BBQ Relief was able to do this with the help of the Salvation Army.
