Perryton, Texas (Tornado) / 7,250 Meals Over 11 Days

In June 2023, Perryton, Texas, was struck by a devastating tornado that left a trail of destruction in its wake.
Operation BBQ Relief immediately responded to the crisis, arriving within hours of the disaster. Over the course of 11 days, our dedicated volunteers worked tirelessly, serving a total of 7,250 hot meals to residents, first responders, and relief workers in Perryton.

This deployment was a testament to the resilience and compassion of our volunteers, donors, and community partners who came together to provide comfort, compassion, and friendship to the people of Perryton during their time of need. Through the Healing Power of BBQ, we made a positive impact on this community, showing that in times of crisis, we are all stronger together.
