Hurricane Sally made landfall in Alabama on September 16, 2020. Due to the intensity of the storm, which involved 105 mile per hour winds and over 20 inches of rainfall, a reported 550,000 residents in affected areas lost power. In an effort to alleviate the suffering of the residents of Orange Beach, Operation BBQ Relief worked with the local community to distribute meals to those in need.
