Montrose, Pennsylvania (Flood) / 1,950 Meals Over 3 Days

Aug 16, 2018 | Deployments

On August 14, 2018, flash flooding caused by several days of heavy rain led Susquehanna County to declare a state of emergency in response to damaged houses and roads. This was compounded by similar flooding that had damaged communities in the area only a few weeks prior. Thanks to the efforts of Operation BBQ Relief’s team of volunteers, the victims of this flooding were provided with both food and hope for the community to repair.
