On February 24, 2018, an EF2 tornado touched down in Missouri. 66 homes were damaged and four people were injured in Malden. The twister left an estimated $2 million worth of damages that stretched for over a mile. Operation BBQ Relief volunteers deployed to serve hot BBQ meals to those impacted.
