Louisiana and Mississippi / (Hurricane) / 55,000 Meals Over 11 Days

On August 21, 2012, Category 1 Hurricane Isaac made landfall in Louisiana. Through September 3, the hurricane caused $611.8615 million in damages and five total deaths across three states. Operation BBQ Relief volunteers from neighboring states set up in Louisiana and Mississippi. They teamed up with Operation Blessing International to serve hot BBQ meals to those impacted by the storm.
