Aug 16, 2016 | Deployments

In August 2016, catastrophic flooding devastated parts of southern Louisiana. Over a three day period, Baton Rouge experienced over 20 inches of rainfall that led to widespread flash flooding and historic river flooding. 50,000 to 75,000 structures were flooded and 13 people were killed. In response, Operation BBQ Relief deployed to provide hot BBQ meals to first responders and victims.
