Columbia, South Carolina (Flooding) / 33,255 Meals Over 10 Days

Oct 1, 2015 | Deployments

From October 1 to 5, 2015, a historic flooding event affected North and South Carolina. This led to historic rainfall in the Charleston tri-county area. Flash flooding led to significant damage to numerous properties and roads, and many people had to be rescued by emergency personnel. By quickly mobilizing volunteers from several states, Operation BBQ Relief was able to ensure that the victims of this disaster were provided with the comfort of a hot BBQ meal.
