Clarksville, Tennessee (Tornado) / 8,950 Meals Over 11 Days

On December 9, 2023, severe storms hit Middle Tennessee spawning seven tornadoes, including an EF3 that hit Clarksville, Tenn. This tornado caused 62 injuries and four fatalities, and damaged or destroyed hundreds of homes. Within 24 hours, Operation BBQ Relief was on the ground in Clarksville, serving hot meals to residents, relief workers, and first responders impacted by the tornadoes. Over the next 8 days, we provided a total of 8,950 meals. We are incredibly grateful to our volunteers, donors, community partners, and other supporters who made our response to this disaster possible! Together, we helped provide comfort, compassion, and friendship to this community through the Healing Power of BBQ.
