Chico, California (Fire) / 5,225 Meals Over 6 Days

Nov 15, 2018 | Deployments

The Camp Fire of November 2018 was one of the deadliest and most destructive wildfires in California history. At its height, the fire was capable of consuming eight football fields worth of land in a single minute. It claimed 85 lives, burned 153,335 acres, destroyed 18,800 structures, and displaced 30,000 victims. Operation BBQ Relief provided those that lost everything with everything they had to give: a hot, comforting meal.
