On Nov. 25-27, 2024, we provided Thanksgiving meals to 13 communities in Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee still recovering from Hurricane Helene.
Thanks to dedicated volunteers from 10 states, 5,200 meals were provided—1,000 delivered by helicopter to areas without road access.
Together, we ensured these communities—many still without power—that they have not been forgotten. A special thank you to our partners at Butterball, Hickory Soup Kitchen, and Flight For Life for making this initiative possible.
