The Operation BBQ Relief team had an amazing time in Ridgefield, Washington on August 24-25, 2024 at the Ilani BBQ Fest! Our CEO and Co-Founder Stan Hays and the legendary Matt Groark of Groark Boys BBQ led a BBQ Academy for military service members, veterans, first responders, and their family members. With the support of Certified Angus Beef, participants learned about the art, craft, and science of barbecue and its ability to positively impact the spirit.
We were honored to express our gratitude to our heroes in uniform and raise awareness for our mission to feed communities after disasters and enrich the lives of heroes every day. We are incredibly grateful to our volunteers and supporters who made this event possible! Special thanks to the Ilani Resort for their hospitality and to Eurest-USA for the support from their kitchen staff!
