Earlier this month, Operation BBQ Relief proudly participated in Vigilant Guard 2025, a large-scale disaster preparedness exercise, alongside first responders, National Guardsmen, and members of Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) in Millington, Tenn. The scenario simulated the aftermath of a major earthquake, allowing teams to coordinate efforts in key areas such as medical response, emergency shelter, food distribution, and more.
This training not only sharpened our disaster response capabilities but also gave us the chance to provide over 1,000 Meals of Gratitude to military personnel, first responders, and relief workers. We are deeply grateful to all of the incredible volunteers who gave their time, energy, and heart to support this meaningful effort.
