Franklin, Tennessee – Super Butts

Feb 9, 2025 | Days of Giving

On February 9-10, 2025, Super Bowl weekend, the smoke was rolling, and the spirit of giving was alive in Tennessee! Steve Anderson, Operation BBQ Relief’s Area Coordinator for Tennessee, led an incredible team of volunteers in smoking 500 pork butts for the The Rotary Club of Franklin at Noon’s annual “Super Butts” service project. But this wasn’t just about delicious BBQ—it was about making a difference.

For every pork butt sold, another was donated to local charities, helping provide 10,000 meals to those in need across Middle Tennessee! We also received a generous grant from The Rotary Club of Franklin at Noon to assist in disaster relief in Tennessee. We’re beyond grateful to have been part of this impactful event and can’t thank our volunteers enough for their dedication and hard work.
