While many know us for our disaster relief efforts, Operation BBQ Relief’s mission extends far beyond times of crisis. We’re dedicated to supporting our nation’s heroes—every day.
In April and May 2025, in honor of National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend and International Firefighters’ Day, our volunteers, staff, and community partners worked hard across the country, delivering heartfelt thanks the best way we know how—with hot, comforting barbecue.
Through our third annual Feeding the Firefighters initiative, an effort of The Always Serving Project™, we provided meals to 4,374 firefighters at 178 locations across 72 cities in 24 states.
Some meals were shared around firehouse tables. Others were delivered to solemn memorial events, paying tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
To every firefighter: thank you—for your bravery, your service, and your unyielding dedication.
And to our incredible volunteers: your time, passion, and heart are the reason this mission thrives. We couldn’t do it without you.
