Evans, Georgia – First Responders Appreciation Luncheon

Jun 21, 2025 | Days of Giving

On June 21, 2025 American Legion Post 192 and Operation BBQ Relief came together in Evans, Georgia to host a First Responder Appreciation Luncheon.

Firefighters, police officers, EMTs, medical professionals, and line workers from across the country were invited for a hot BBQ meal as a thank-you for their service.

With 1,500 plates served, the event was a powerful reminder of how food can show gratitude in a meaningful way.

Through The Always Serving Project®, we provide meals for veterans, first responders, and medical teams—the ones who give so much to their communities. It’s our way of giving back to them.

At OBR, appreciation is always on the menu!
