Operation BBQ Relief volunteers, under the leadership of our Area Coordinator for North Carolina Scott Jarrett, were on the ground at U.S. Coast Guard Base Elizabeth City in North Carolina on Aug. 1, 2024, to celebrate the U.S. Coast Guard’s 234th birthday! They provided 3,500 hot meals to active duty and retired Coast Guardsmen, their family members, and workers at the installation.
This Day of Giving through The Always Serving Project allowed us to express our gratitude to those who serve us. We are so appreciative to our Coast Guardsmen for all they do to keep us safe.
