Most people know Operation BBQ Relief for feeding communities after disasters—but through The Always Serving Project®, we also support our nation’s heroes year-round.
On August 4, 2025, OBR volunteers showed up at five Coast Guard bases across the country to serve BBQ and gratitude to the men and women who protect our waters. Thanks to our national partnership with the U.S. Coast Guard and their Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) division, we helped fuel birthday celebrations from Connecticut to North Carolina.
From New Orleans to Staten Island, our teams brought the BBQ and a whole lot of heart—serving meals to honor 235 years of Coast Guard courage and commitment. Huge thanks to the MWR teams for securing food and supplies, and to every Coastie—past and present—for your service. We’re proud to serve those who serve.
