Racine, Wisconsin – Racine Raiders

Jul 5, 2025 | Days of Giving

On July 5, 2025, Operation BBQ Relief hosted a special tailgate in Racine, Wisconsin as part of The Always Serving Project®—bringing the healing power of BBQ to those who serve.

At the Racine Raiders Armed Forces Appreciation Night, we fired up the smokers to honor veterans and active-duty service members attending—and playing in—the semi-pro football game against a visiting team from Fayetteville, North Carolina. That team alone included 20 military-affiliated players!

With around 200 attendees, the event was more than a meal—it was a chance to connect, celebrate, and show heartfelt appreciation to our heroes. This is what The Always Serving Project® is all about—serving those who serve, even when skies are clear.
