After 17 days on the ground, our deployment to Southern California came to an end on Jan. 29, 2025. We arrived on Jan. 12 in response to the devastating wildfires that claimed lives, turned entire neighborhoods to ash, and displaced countless families.
We had the privilege of providing over 20,000 meals—knowing “The One Hot Meal That Matters” brings comfort in the darkest times.
This deployment wouldn’t have been possible without our incredible volunteers, sponsors, community partners, and staff. Your hard work, sacrifices, and generosity fueled this effort. Together, we made a real impact on survivors, first responders, and relief workers.
California, your resilience and kindness never cease to inspire us. With eight deployments and over 120,000 meals provided since 2017, we feel deeply connected to your communities. While we may be heading home for now, know this: if disaster strikes again, we’ll be back—bringing hot meals and hope with us.
