Just 43 days after Hurricane Laura hit, Hurricane Delta made landfall on October 9, 2020. Lake Charles was still dealing with damage sustained to homes and other structures from Hurricane Laura, and Hurricane Delta only worsened this situation. By quickly mobilizing volunteers from several states, Operation BBQ Relief was able to ensure that the victims of this disaster were provided with the comfort of a hot BBQ meal.
