Eureka, Kansas (Tornado) / 1700 Meals over 3 Days

Eureka, KS, a community of about 2400, was impacted by two tornadoes late on July 7, 2016. An EF-3 tornado occurred just northwest of Eureka and an EF-2 tornado went through the City of Eureka.

Luckily, there were no fatalities nor serious injuries. But debris, damaged homes, and power loss led to an OBR deployment so that residents, First Responders, and volunteers could focus on their 1st priority…getting their town back on its feet.

From July 8th through the 10th, our volunteers, led by Will Cleaver, provided hope, friendship, and compassion to the masses.
